Ikebana LVT, heat shrink medium wall tubing, has been specially developed for applications with power cables up to 1 kV. Ikebana LVT has excellent insulating properties combined with toughness, resistance to impact and abrasion thus providing mechanical protection. It offers good protection from environmental effects, ultra violet radiation and moisture. It is also resistant to oil and solvent attacks.

Ikebana LVT is easy to install. A common gas torch is required to heat and recover the tubes onto the power cables or accessories. Ikebana LVT has a high shrink ratio which allows it to be used with a wide range of cable sizes. Ikebana LVT is available in two forms: Uncoated LVT-U and coated with hot melt adhesive LVT-C. Coated tubes offer complete sealing.
 
Ikebana heat shrink medium wall tubes have:
 
  • EXCELLENT HEAT RESISTANCE: Made from cross linked polyolefin, non-melting.
  • LARGE APPLICATION RANGE: Expansion ratio 3:1.
  • CONTINOUS OPERATING TEMPARATURE: 55ºC TO 125ºC.
  • SHRINKING TEMPARATURE: Min. 120ºC.
  • EASY INSTALLATION: In the factory or at site using gas torch, hot blower or in hot oven.
