| This data sheet covers the requirements for heat shrinkable high voltage sheds whose dimension will shrink to a predetermined size upon the application of heat above 125 deg. C. Color of the HV sheds is red. The HV sheds are electrically insulating, anti tracking, erosion resistant, weather proof and flame retardant. The HV sheds are normally supplied with an anti-tracking red sealant coating covered with release paper. |

| Typical Applications |
| Heat Shrink Triple Sheds are used primarily to protect the crutch of the PILC 3-core cable while installing and connecting an outdoor termination by restricting the individual cable cores from over bending away from the crutch. They also provide additional creepage extension. |

| Materials |

| The base material of the HV sheds is thermally stabilized, cross linked blend of polyolefin and a compatible grade of synthetic rubber. The basic resin is mixed with chemical additives offering protection against fire, oxidation, ozone and other environmental effects. The sealant is a butyl rubber based red mastic which is water-proof, electrical insulating and anti-tracking. |

Each Ikebana HV shed is printed with a heat resistant printing ink of white color.
Printed information includes:

| Packaging |
| |
| HV sheds are packed individually in a polythene bag. A specified number of HV sheds are packed inside a standard corrugated carton. The outer carton carries an IKEBANA label with information of the contents and the customer's name. |
